North Tactical Unit AKIZUKI as the completion
「秋月」が竣工しました。今回の「秋月」は、自分の出来る限りの範囲で図面を忠実に再現しようという意図のもとに、製作しました。ちなみに、使用した図面は日本海軍艦艇模型保存会の1/200図面です。
日本海軍艦艇の中でも特にこの「秋月」型が人気があるというのも頷けるプロポーションとなっています。ベースとなるアオシマのキットもかなり素性の良い好感の持てるキットです。

AKIZUKI is now finished. I made this AKIZUKI precisely as long as possible in accordance with the drawing. Incidentally, the drawing I used is a 1/200 drawing and it is sold from Nippon Kaigun Kantei Mokei Hozonkai (Japanese Navy Naval Vessels Model Preservation Society) in Japan.
Among the IJN naval vessels, especially the popularity of AKIZUKI is very high in Japan. Her proportion is wonderful. The kit of AOSHIMA that became a base of this work is the excellent kit and easy to make.

なお２０００年８月に、「秋月」に対し前後マストを中心として張り線を施しました。この張り線は鮎釣り用極細金属線ではなく、伸ばしランナーの細いものを作って取付けたものです。また、２５ｍｍ連装機銃と魚雷積み込みダビッドはエッチングパーツに替えました。
Furthermore, the tension lines were performed around the masts of AKIZUKI in August 2000. I don't use the 0.037mmφ metal line for sweetfish fishing but the extended thin plastic stick . Also, I changed the 25mm twin MG and the torpedo loading derrick to the etching parts.
