「夕雲」（ゆうぐも）　＜竣工時仕様＞
Yokosuka Div.Unit YUGUMO as the completion

　基本工作は「陽炎」と同じく、キットをエッチングパーツと真鍮線でディテールアップしてみました。この「夕雲」も「陽炎」と同じく、スキッドビームはキットのパーツを加工しています。また追加工作で、張り線を伸ばしランナーによって施してあります。

The basic work is the same as in the case of KAGERO and ASASHIO. I performed the detail up of a kit by using the photo-etched parts and brass rods. As for this YUGUMO, the skid beams were made from the parts of a kit like as KAGERO. By additional work, I made the tension lines with extended thin plastic stick .

　「夕雲」は開戦時には竣工したばかりで、横須賀鎮守府所属となっていました。一応、外舷色はグンゼ３２番軍艦色で塗装してあります。しかし竣工は舞鶴工廠ですので、竣工直後は舞鶴海軍工廠色の可能性もあります。
　「陽炎」とほとんど同じに見えますが。艦橋の側面がほんのわずか傾斜しています。さらに艦尾が「陽炎」よりさらに斜めに切り取られた形をしています。「陽炎」との主な相違は、後マストのヤードにも見ることが出来ます。「陽炎」型では後マストヤードが「＋」であったものが、この「夕雲」では上から見て「×」になっています。

YUGUMO was just completed at the time of outbreak of war and she was Yokosuka naval district assignment. Tentatively, the hull color has been coated with paint with the 32nd GUNZE LTD. warship color. But YUGUMO was manufactured in Maizuri arsenal, so there is possibility that her hull color was Maizuru arsenal color at the time of outbreak of war.
Although the shape of YUGUMO seems to be almost same as KAGERO, the aspect of the bridge leans a little and the form of stern is cut furthermore obliquely than KAGERO's stern.
Another difference with KAGERO is the form of a yard of the back mast. In KAGERO type the yard of the back mast shows 「＋」form. On the other hand, The form of YUGUMO's yard that seen from the top shows 「×」.
