　艦橋部分と艦中央そして艦尾をアップしてみます。当初搭載艇用ダビッドはキットのパーツをそのまま使う予定でいたのですが、タイミング良くエッチングパーツがリリースされましたので、ダビッドやデリックを全てエッチングパーツに換装しました。
　海人社「世界の艦船」別冊の「日本巡洋艦史」に図面がありますので、これをもとに可能な限りディテールアップしています。９４式水偵の翼とフロートを格納してある状態も再現しました。

The bridge part, ship central and the stern is focused on with the photographs below. Because the etching parts were released well timing, all of derricks and cranes are replaced to the etching parts.
The exact drawing of TAMA was published into"the Japanese Cruiser History" of the KAIJINSYA. So, It went up possibility detail on the basis of this drawing. Even the condition which has housed the wings and floats of Type 94 seaplanes are reproduced.

　後部艦橋には双眼鏡を取りつけてあります。この双眼鏡は０．２ｍｍφ真鍮線と０．５ｍｍφプラ棒で作りました。
　またエッチングパーツのデリックを使うと大きさがちょうど良く、より精密な感じになると思います。水偵搭載用デリックは、GoldMedal製ではなくTom's製のものを使いました。Tom'sの方が実物に近いでしょう。
　ここまで接写してもシェルター甲板下の支柱が写っていないのは残念です。

I have installed binoculars in the back bridge. These binoculars are made by a 0.2mmφ brass rod and a 0.5mmφ plastic stick.
Also, I think that size becomes just good and more precise when using the derrick of the etching parts. The Tom's etching parts of derrick for the seaplane are rather suitable than GoldMedal 's .
Although it took a close-up, the props under the shelter deck are not seen . It is a little bit regrettable.

　やはりこうみてくると、５，５００トン型軽巡洋艦はカッコイイですね。スブーンバウでスタイルがクラシックすぎるため、人気は今一つかもしれませんが、見直す必要がありそうです。

After all, the style of the light cruiser of 5500-ton class are very appearance good !!
Because the style is too much classic ( for example, the spoon bow form), there is not so popularity. I think we should evaluate them more.
