　写真資料が、有名な公試時の全力疾走の姿とオルモック湾での撃沈前のものしかありませんでしたので、学研「陽炎型駆逐艦」の挿入イラストを参考にして、可能な限り手を加えました。煙突両サイドと後部甲板にはリノリウムが張られていますので、罫書き針でリノリウム押さえを表現してあります。

There are only a few photographs that indicate the figure of the all her energies dash at the official test and in immediately before sinking in Philippines .
So, I reproduced as long as possible according to the illustration of GAKKEN 「the Pacific war history series ：KAGERO type destroyer」. I expressed the additional linoleum deck with a writing needle, because linoleum is stretched to both chimney sides and back deck.

　艦橋後部の暗号室の形状ですが、私は森恒英氏著「日本の駆逐艦」Ｐ１３０ 〜１３１ にある俯瞰図と断面図に従いましてプラ板でスクラッチして取り付けました。また前マスト下にある野菜保管室等の設備も再現してあります。これらの細部は残念ながら画像からはよく分かりませんね(^^;)。
　前後マストを真鍮線に替えると、元キットの出来が良いだけに、見栄えがアップします。中央部にある方位測定儀（リング状アンテナ）はエッチングパーツ製ですが、組み立てと取り付けには案外苦労しました。
　前後煙突の開口部を開口し、雨水除けカバーを０．２ｍｍφ真鍮線で作りました。実艦ではカバーは＊状になっていますが、少し間引いて＋にした方がかえって見映えするような気がします。

I made the code room ,the vegetable storage room and other quipments of the bridge back with a plastic board, in accordance with the bird's-eye view and the sectional plan that are from the book "The Japanese destroyer" P130〜131 written by the famous naval vessels investigator Mori Tsunehide. However in spite of my effort, it is not seen these details well from the photographs regretfully.
I changed both the front and back mast to a brass rod and also change the handrails, ladders, the 25mm twin MG, motor launch davits, depth bomb equipments, torpedo loading derrick, goniometer antenna ( radio direction finder ) etc. to the etching parts.
I opened the front and back funnel mouth and attach the frames for canvas cover making with a 0.2 mmφ brass rod. In a real ship the frames for canvas cover have a form of 「＊」 but in 1/700 a form of 「＋」 is seemed better to see clean-cut.
