第３艦隊第１６戦隊　「球磨」（くま）

　「球磨」の場合、「長良」クラスと違って煙突と艦橋の形状が異なっていますので、近場からの識別は可能になります。「長良」の四角い箱と違って「球磨」のくさび型艦橋もカッコイイですね。
　舷外電路を装着し、後部見張り所を撤去して後マストの探照燈の位置を変更した、開戦後まもなくの写真が残っていますので、これを参考にしました。

As for KUMA the form of the bridge and the chimney are different from NAGARA class. Therefore the distinction from the near place is possible. Even the wedge style of KUMA's bridge is clean-cut unlike the square box of NAGARA class.
I referred to the picture of KUMA which was photographed soon after outbreak of war. On the basis of this photograph, I produced KUMA. It's able to understand from this photograph that the degaussing coils were fixed out of the hull side and removed the lookout post and changed the position of search lights of the back mast.
