　このアングルからのショットは定番的ですが、いつもながらカッコイイと思います。
　実は今回の工作では、外舷色をグンゼ産業の呉工廠色にしてみました。実際の呉工廠色がこのグンゼの色だったかどうかは、議論の余地が大いにあるのですが、グンゼ産業の方が青味と緑味がなく、すなおな”軍艦色”に仕上がっているような気がします。
　なお「陽炎」型のうち、「陽炎」から「谷風」までの１４隻は開戦時に呉鎮守府所属でした。

Although this angle is a standard shot, the shape is very good as usual.
By the additional work in this time, I coated the hull with the Kure arsenal color of GUNZE SANGYO, INC in this work. The paint of GUNZE SANGYO, INC. have little blue taste and green taste than PITROAD and I think it is completed to natural color.
By the way, among the 20 KAGERO type destroyers 14 ships from KAGERO to TANIKAZE were Kure naval district assignment at the time of outbreak of war.

　日本海軍の誇った甲型駆逐艦「陽炎」型の艦中央部を、アップにしてみました。張り線は、前後マスト間で少し複雑な取り回しになっています。いつものように、内火ランチ用ダビッド、右舷魚雷運搬デリック、２５ｍｍ連装機銃はそれぞれエッチングパーツに換装しています。

The tension lines stretched between the front and back mast of KAGERO are slightly complicated. As it is ordinary, I changed the motor launch davits, torpedo transport derrick and 25mm twin MG to the etching parts.

　「陽炎」型は艦尾にナックルがつけられ、ほんのわずかですが艦尾端が傾斜しています。これを表現するため、わざわざ艦尾をパテで修正してみました。キットよりは幾分傾斜がついているのですが、写真ではよく分からないですね(^^;)。
　艦尾の爆雷装填台はエッチングパーツ、デリックは０．２５ｍｍφ真鍮線、両舷スクリューガードは０．２ｍｍφ真鍮線です。後マストにつけた艦尾信号灯の赤白緑と、後部上部構造につけた救命ブイの赤白の色がよいアクセントになっています。

　The tail of the KAGERO type had a knuckle and the end of the tail slopes slightly. Therefore, I tried to modify the tail with the putty specially. Although an inclination was attached appreciably it is not reflected to the photograph well.
I changed depth bomb equipments to etching parts and derricks, both side screw guides to a brass rod.
The manoeuvring lights were attached to the back mast. The lifesaving buoys were attached to both sides in the bridge. Their vivid colors ( red, white, green ) are the accent that is conspicuous in monotonous warship colors.
