第８駆逐隊　「朝潮」（あさしお）

　この「朝潮」は、ピットロードのキットを素直に製作しました。もちろん可能な限りエッチングパーツや真鍮線を使っています。舷外電路はキットにモールドされていませんので、０．２５ｍｍφ真鍮線で製作しました。
　実は以前ここに掲載されていたのは呉工廠色で塗られた「朝潮」だったのですが、２０００年７月に全て一から作り直しまして、横須賀工廠色に塗装しています。開戦時、「朝潮」は横須賀鎮守府に所属していました。

ASASHIO, this work is produced from the kit of the PITROAD obediently. Needless to say I am using etching parts and brass rods as long as possible . Because the degaussing coils are not formed to the kit, I produce it with a 0.25 mmφ brass rod.
Well actually, previous ASASHIO that was showed here was painted with Kure arsenal color. In July, 2000 I remade ASASHIO all from the beginning and I applied to her with the Yokosuka arsenal color. At the time of outbreak of war, ASASHIO was belonging to the Yokosuka naval district.

　２０００年１０月に前後マスト間を張り線し、２５ｍｍ機銃、内火艇ダビッド、魚雷積み込みダビットをエッチングパーツに換装してディテールアップを施しました。

Furthermore, the tension lines were stretched between the front and back mast of ASASHIO in October 2000. I don't use the 0.037mmφ metal line for sweetfish fishing but the extended thin plastic stick . Also, I changed the 25mm twin MG, motor launch davits and the torpedo loading derrick to the etching parts for further detailed-up.
