「荒潮」の艦橋、中央部、艦尾をそれぞれアップしてみました。小回りが効きそうで精悍な駆逐艦の表情が伺えます。艦橋には両舷に救命ブイをつけています。白と赤の色が単調な外舷色の中でアクセントになっています。
The bridge, the center and the stern are focused on. We can
understand such a feeling that small circumference works well and
intrepid facial expression from these photographs.
The lifesaving buoys are being attached to both sides in the
bridge. The white and red color are the accent that is
conspicuous in monotonous warship colors.
前後煙突の開口部を開口し、雨水除けカバーを０．２ｍｍφ真鍮線で作ります。実艦ではカバーは＊状になっていますが、少し間引いて＋にした方がスッキリ見えます。後部煙突横のスキッドビームについては、エッチングパーツに替えることを以前はやっていましたが、エッチングパーツでは厚みが足りません。実艦のスキッドビームはもう少しぶ厚くなっていますので、キットのパーツのトラスをくり貫いた方がより実際らしく見えます。なんでもかんでもエッチングパーツというのではなく、実艦の雰囲気に即するようにパーツを加工するという方法もあります。
I open the front and back funnel mouth and attach the frames for
canvas cover making with a 0.2 mmφ brass rod. In a real ship the
frames for canvas cover have a form of 「＊」 but in 1/700 a
form of 「＋」 is seemed better to see clean-cut.
Former, although I was changing the skid beams of the back funnel
side to the etching parts, I understood that the thickness of the
etching parts was not sufficient. Because the skid beams of a
real ship is a little bit thick, I am now adopting the method to
whittle and penetrate the truss of the parts of the kit.
Even if it bites whatever changing parts to the etching parts, I
recommend you the method that the parts of a kit are processed so
that they fit the atmosphere of a real ship.
艦尾の爆雷装填台はエッチングパーツ、デリックは０．２５ｍｍφ真鍮線です。後マストにつけた艦尾信号灯の赤白緑がよいアクセントになっています。
I changed depth bomb equipments to etching parts and derricks to
a 0.25mmφbrass rod.
The manoeuvring lights were attached to the back mast. Their
vivid colors ( red, white, green ) are the accent that is
conspicuous in monotonous warship colors.
手前が「夏雲」、後方が「荒潮」です。舷側に旧カタカナで「モグツナ」「ホシラア」なんて書いてあるのは、クラシックで妙にほのぼのとした情緒がありますね(^^)。古き良き時代の連合艦隊の雰囲気を醸し出しています。
２艦の違いはほとんどないといってもよいでしょう。こうやって２艦並べると、複数艦編成で並走するシーンはカッコイイですね、臨場感が出ます。
NATSUGUMO is in the front. ARASHIO is in the rear. The characters
"モグツナ" and "ホシラア" written to
the both ship's side with old Katakana produce very classic and
heartwarming atmosphere. The atmosphere of the combined fleet in
an old good era is being brewed.
When we see this image there is almost no differences of 2 ships.
The scene that 2 ships line up with plural ship organization and
dash is much stunning !! This scene gives us the feeling of being
at a live performance.
