ＧＦ付属　「明石」（あかし）

　特務艦にして工作艦である「明石」が竣工しました。私は、いかにもメカニック丸出しのこういう特殊な艦艇が好きでして、クレーンの林立する姿に魅せられます。各種クレーン、ボートダビット、マストのヤード、手すり等は全てエッチングパーツを使いました。この艦からヤードにエッチングパーツを使い始めましたが、中々精密感が出るようです。

AKASHI which is the special service ship of repair is just completed. I am fascinated by the figure of mechanic appearance like the forest of the cranes that AKASHI has.
The various kinds of cranes, radial davits for 9m cutter, mast yard, handrails etc. are used all the photo-etched parts. From this production I try to use the photo-etched parts on the mast yard and a quite precise impression seems to be accomplished.

　なお、ジオラマにすることを考えて、右舷は停泊状態、左舷は航海状態にそれぞれ設定を分けました。繋止索は０．３ｍｍφ真鍮線とエッチングパーツのラッタルを使って表現しました。また右舷艦尾の舷梯は、市販のエッチングパーツを組み立てたものです。舷梯用ダビットは真鍮線を曲げて作っています。

Well I intend to make a diorama and I set up the starboard anchoring condition, the port voyage condition individually. The swinging boom is expressed by using 0.3mm diameter brass line and photo-etched parts of ladders. Also the accommodation ladder of the starboard stern is the one that assembled the photo-etched parts of marketing. Ladder davit is made from 0.25 mm diameter brass line.
