第２艦隊第２水雷戦隊　「矢矧」（やはぎ）＜最終時仕様＞

　1/1250「矢矧」のキットを余分に分けていただき、特別バージョンとして「矢矧」（最終時仕様）の徹底ディテールアップ版を作ってみました。ディテールアップの箇所は以下のとおりです。

・艦首、艦尾に旗棹を０．２ｍｍ真鍮線で立てる。
・艦橋窓枠のモールドを削り取り、1/700エッチングパーツの余りで枠を表現する。
・艦橋トップの方位アンテナ（ループアンテナ）を０．２ｍｍ真鍮線で作る。しかしかなりオーバースケールになりました。
・両舷の９ｍカッター用ダビッドを０．２ｍｍ真鍮線を曲げて作る。
・前マストを全て真鍮線で作り直し、ヤード及びトラス構造を表現する。
・前マストの信号旗用張り線を、伸ばしランナーで表現する。
・後ろマストのヤードを真鍮線で作り直す。
・後ろマストのヤードやクレーン回りに張り線を行う。
・後ろマストのヤードに軍艦旗のデカールをつける。
・波表現をした台に固定できるようにし、ディオラマ対応にする。

と、まあこんなところです。さすがにこのスケールでは手すりは難しいですね。手すりを植えていくと、かえってキットの繊細なモールドを壊しかねないと思い、あきらめました。

Receiving one set of the YAHAGI kit excessively, I made the YAHAGI at the time of final that is performed a detail up as a special version. The place of the detail up is as the following.

・stand the around of flagpoles of 0.2mmφ brass rod against the bow and the stern.
・cut out the window frame of the bridge and express the window frame by using the etching parts of 1/700 scale.
・make the direction antenna (the loop antenna) of the bridge top with 0.2mmφ brass rod.
・make the davits for 9 m cutters of both sides with the brass rod 0.2 mmφ.
・Remake the front mast with all the brass rods and express the yard and also truss structure.
・Express the tension lines for the signal flags of the front mast with a runner of plastic rod.
・Remake the yard of the back mast with the brass rod 0.2mmφ.
・Make the tension line to the yard and crane circumference of the back mast.
・Attach a sticker of the naval ensign to the yard of the back mast.
・Finally, fix the work of the finished goods on a decoration unit that the wave is painted on.

It may be such a thing well. The handrails are not able to be expressed in this scale. I abandoned to attach the handrails because the handrails might break sensitive mold of the kit.

By the way, please pay attention, because the merchandise of the marketing plan is the thing of element set condition. This detail up version is not marketed.

　艦中央部分を少し拡大してみましょう。前マストのトラス状態や張り線をクローズアップしました。この張り線は伸ばしプラランナーで作りました。

Let's try to expand a ship central part. The truss structure and tension line among the mast are focused on.
The tension lines of images below are not reflected well, because they are too thin at all. These tension lines are made by a plastic stick that are roasted with fire and extended thinly.

　塗料ビンや1/700タミヤ「矢矧」の船体と、大きさを比較してみます。巡洋艦にもかかわらず、やはり1/1250というスケールは非常に小さいことが分かります。この大きさだと、手すりをつけるのはさすがにカンベンってところですね(^^;)。

The size of the finished 1/1250 YAHAGI is compared with the bottle of a paint or the hull of 1/700 YAHAGI made by Tamiya. In spite of the cruiser, we can understand that 1/1250 products are very small after all . It is very difficult to attach a handrail due to this smallness !!
